Blue Mountain Smokehouse Grille in Orange City

Came here for my birthday and I must say, it was an awesome experience. Made a reservation originally for 14 people and they let me add more people as I got some late responses. They were totally cool with it with all the adjustments.

Had the pizza,,,,fan freakin tastic.

I had the ribs and brisket. Delicious. Service, attentive and happy moods all around :)

Was as really one of a kind interior. Great food, Great service, Will go back again!

I wouldn't call it a culinary emporium rather a restaurant. They have food, but so does Subway. Their cooking decent at best. Flavor profiles you could find at any any other restaurant. The grocery store in town has better ribs.

Interesting place to walk around and look at things. And food was good and service was better. Had a great time.

Love this small town gem. Unique and warm atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. Great food! If you like smoked meat, you'll want to check it out.

Food was ok. Some stuff hot but some just warm. Service was good. Coffee was extremely tasty. Very shaky chair at our table. It needed repair and we did not use it. The upstairs was hot. Must have been close to 80 degrees. Parking lot was pretty slick. So a lot of little negatives but they add up.

Great food and atmosphere. Price is fair for quality of food. The thing I loved was the aroma of firewood smoke!

Love this place! They have the best French Toast in IA - it is sooo tasty! Very sweet & filling! Everything I've tried has been delicious. Caesar Salad with Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, Kimchi Sandwich, Keto Breakfast. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent food, great dining atmosphere. I got the prime rib dip from the lunch menu. Very pleased. Fries were the best ive had.

I enjoyed chili queso with pitas, coffee and a torte for dessert. The food was wonderful. But what I really noticed on my first visit was the friendly, helpful waitress Meghan. She gave us a cozy booth in atmosphere that was undescribable. Very classy, a hidden gem.

The food is good and the portions are well sized. The decor is really amazing. The service was good, not fast. But served with a smile. Editing review for less stars because I called the resturant a few moments ago and was treated very poorly by the person answering the phone.

First time here and it was AWFUL! Waitress was awful no customer service! Saw the waitress for drinks food and then 1 time for water refill and HAD to ask for checks. Orders came out wrong, she brought them back and it was still awful. Food was cold! Suppose to be the best place to eat in Orange City, I can name 5 other restaurants in town that are way better. Not worth your time and would NEVER recommend!

They did a tap takeover. The beers we're good, but nobody from the brewery was there to talk about the beers.

Some of the best food in Orange City. Never had something I didn't like here. Lunch prices are moderate but worth it. The wait staff is very friendly and the food comes rather quickly during lunch. Highly recommend the Smokehouse Hot Beef Sandwich off the lunch menu. It's a good amount of food for the price. You'll definitely come back for it!

Initially thought would be a great place to Bring family for a nice evening. But.. ordered an appetizer that was not served. Got one drink , only saw the waitress taking, delivering and the bill for the dinner. Then asked if we were gonna hang. The food was good but left still hungry, no salad or bread with dinner. Prices high for no extras. Would have paid for extras if necessary. Anniversary dinner felt rushed. Will probably not go back. Thursday night didn't appear to be busy.

The waitress we had was phenomenal!She mentioned that she was new but how she handled everything was amazing and we were very pleased with her service! 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼 😊

We rode our motorcycles up from Cedar Rapids for lunch (just over 600 miles round trip). Worth every mile. Seated by the owner, attended to by a staff member who most certainly assisted the owner in writing the book "Hospitality 101". I highly recommend this establishment to one and all. Can't see how you can go wrong. Thank You Blue Mountain !!!! Om

Delicious plus great service

We had our wedding at the barn next to the restaurant and had the restaurant cater our meal. It was great! The barn was an awesome venue!

Bottom Line: This place is serving up some GOOD salads you can't recreate at home. HOW (*kanye meme*). My go to is the hummus tahina or guac greens. Busy during lunch hour. I like going there better than ordering online. Get bread if you want to be more full!

Server was nice polite and had a smile. Very helpful in choosing an Authentic Nepali dish for me. Food is nothing I have ever tasted. Very unique. I will be back

Awesome food with a quiet high-end atmosphere. Varied menu- burgers, pizza, ribs, seafood, steaks, all at reasonable prices. We've never had a bad meal yet. Beautiful outside seating is available. The crab-stuffed salmon is my favorite dish.

I love the idea of the decor, the atmosphere having ngf several different themes, and it's quite cozy. I believe there is much room for improvement with the smoked meats as the plating choice (ribs, andoille, and brisket) were dry and over salted. However, their salmon is delicious! The crab stuffing in the crab-stuffed salmon was hard to find the crab flavor, but in all, that has been my favorite dish! The forbidden rice is fabulous!

I love how this place satisfies both cravings. My bf isn't big on sushi and loves burgers, so he's happy. The food quality is great (both sushi and burgers) and the service is great! I also like how they aren't cheap on ginger like most sushi places. Definitely coming back and teaching this place to others

Beautiful place thought I would be a family friendly but it’s not. No changing table in the bathrooms my steak was well over cooked and our deserts were missing the stuff listed on the menu

Cool place to stop. The service was amazing and the food was very good. I ordered the steak salad and it was served promptly. The whole restaurant is covered in cool decor. I was able to walk upstairs and wow it’s pretty cool. Highly recommend for a cool interesting place to eat.

Really a unique experience. Good food with a wide selection of options. Service is pretty good. The waits can be long on the weekends but during the week u can walk right in. I would recommend trying this place.

Celebrated my birthday today with lunch at Petit Trois. Reminded me of the time I did my study abroad in Europe back in college. The servers are really attentive and the food is EXQUISITE! The price is high but worth every penny! Make sure to come right when they open at 12pm noon or 1:30pm. Try to sit right at one of the 8 seats by the counter. It's like watching food network live/in real life. So entertaining!

Good food delivered fast and hot. A little noisy from an event upstairs.

Surprised to see it dead on a Friday evening but was just before classes started so maybe no crowd in town. Great smell of bbq smoke upon entering the dining room. Food was great; we got Brussels sprouts as an appetizer. 4 stars because server wasn't very interested in anything but chatting with a table of her friends across the dining room

I had the Jump In The Salad and my god let me tell you this is the best salad I've ever had. I just wasn't hungry enough for a burger but now I don't know how I can ever not order this when I go. Wow. Basically chicken and waffles on greens. So damn good. Yum!!!

We had lunch there today. I got the smoked brisket dip sandwich and my husband for a burger. They were so good! Staff was quick and courtesy. Very family friendly. Plan to take the whole family there for dinner soon.

Went there for lunch today. It is an awesome place. Food was great. Service was even better. I'm from Omaha and can't wait to go back again.

Great food, good atmosphere, good service! Everything you want and they have a few interesting options to make you want to come back and not just the same old same old.

Service and food are well deserving of 5 stars! I came with a small group at 5:15 and got seated right away. Service was top notch. Our server had a lot of energy and was extremely quick with getting our meats and sides out.
